With Back to school quickly approaching (sorry for bringing that up!) I wanted to share what I do in my classroom with my crayon boxes. I use Velcro to put the nametags on. This way I can reuse the crayon boxes year after year (or until they break or become too yucky!). It may seem like such a simple idea, but I definitely struggled with what to do at first. I thought of tape or just putting the name plates on the table (it's pre-k so we use tables, not desks). Then, like magic it came to me...lol.
Hope this tip helps you out! Oh, and please excuse my unmanicured nails!
I'm so excited about my newest pack! It's a Zoo Animal theme pack that is 189 pages of math and literacy fun! I am soooo excited about using it with my new class this year. It's finally complete. I only had bits and pieces of what is there now to use with my class last year. It was by far one of my favorite units to teach, so I revamped my unit and am now excited to share it with all of you! If you missed my post about Zz is for Zoo, check it out here. You know there will be a very detailed blog post when I teach it again this upcoming year! For now, here's a preview pic of some of what is included in the pack.
It will be 50% off for the first 48 hours that it is posted, then it will go to regular price. Don't miss your chance to save!! You can click the image to go to my TpT site and get your copy. :)
Since it's summer, I'm using the things I've made to homeschool my two little ones, ages 4 and 2. Here's some of the fun things we did today!
Here's my daughter wearing her letter A crown. I let her choose the colors she wanted to use...but she was in a purply mood so everything got colored purple! Lol. :) Sorry about the clipart face, my hubby won't allow me to post pics of our kiddos on the Internet. I plan on revealing myself to put a face to "The Teaching Zoo" so maybe then he'll let me. We'll see....
The crown is part of my Let's Learn the Alphabet! ABC Crowns pack. You can get a copy of the pack by clicking the picture of the cover page below.
These two pictures are my son (age 2) and daughter (age 4) completing a page of letter A pictures.
You can get your copy of my Let's Learn the Alphabet! ABC Letter & Sound Coloring Posters by clicking the pic of the cover page below.
More fun activities to come...after their nap! I'll be posting them later. Stay tuned! :)
Make sure to check out the post below this one to enter my GIVEAWAY!!!
It's Wednesday again!! Who's excited for another giveaway?? I know I am!!! This week's giveaway will last until 7/21. I'm giving away the 2nd most wishlisted item in my Teachers Pay Teachers store. It's a Dramatic Play pack for the Grocery Store. SO MUCH FUN!!!
I'm a little better at the whole giveaway thing this time, so I've made the rafflecopter options a little better! :) You now have a chance to earn 5 additional entries daily just by sharing ANY item in my store either on Facebook or on Pinterest! Yay! Good Luck to all of you!! :)
I saw this title on something I was reading and I thought, "Hey, this would be great to do on my blog!" I'm so excited to do my first giveaway! I'm going to give one lucky person the number one wishlisted item in my Teachers Pay Teachers store. My ABC hole puncher pack! It's letters Aa to Zz. It builds fine motor skills while working on letter recognition. But most of all...it's FUN! The kiddos absolutely love this activity because they get to use the "punchers"!
